Analytics choices

Optional analytics are disabled until you choose “Allow analytics.” If accepted, ToolBid records anonymous product events and may load Google Analytics 4. ToolBid does not intentionally store your IP address, advertising profile, or contact details in its analytics event table. Your preference is stored on your device and can be cleared through your browser’s site-data settings.

How information is used

ToolBid uses this information to review listings and claims, operate the public directory and Sponsored Leaderboard, confirm and administer payments, respond to requests, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate engagement.

Public information

Published tool names, descriptions, categories, website links, sponsored bid amounts, sponsorship status, ranking, and aggregate click counts may be public. Contact names, contact emails, payer emails, and payment identifiers are not intentionally displayed publicly.

Payments and service providers

Stripe processes payment-card information under its own privacy terms. ToolBid does not directly store complete card numbers. Google Analytics may process consented analytics data under Google’s privacy terms. Hosting and authentication providers process limited technical or account information needed to deliver and secure the service.

Retention and requests

Records are retained while reasonably needed for moderation, transaction administration, security, dispute handling, analytics, and legal obligations. To request correction or deletion, use the Submit/Claim form and clearly identify the listing and request in the message field. Some transaction or security records may need to be retained.
